Earning Money Online Is Hard, How To Make It Easier

Filed Under (General, Tips, Tricks, and Guides, Website Managment) by admin on 03-03-2009

Nothing is easy in life, if it was everybody would be living that lifestyle. The only way you can earn money fast and quickly is by winning the lottery. Their is no secret out their that will make you earn thousands of dollars in the first day, it’s just not possible. I am sorry to break it to you but internet marketing is hard, probably even harder then most jobs. Although it doesn’t require a lot of physical work, it does require a lot of work on the computer. Internet Marketing also requires many hours of research, website managment, writing, communiation, and analyzing results. The recommended amount of research before you start is atleast three months. Many people jump into marketing investing lots of money and come out without any profit.
How to make affiliate marketing easier:

1. Automate It!
Automated websites require much less attention then normal website. They also give you much more time to promote your website, and optimize it. I used Automation Software that automatically updates your website. You can get it by clicking here.

2. Optimize It!
Optimization is probably the second most effective method of getting more conversions. SEO makes your website popular on google. Good optimization can be done for less then 30 minutes a day and gain massive results. For my marketing websites I used Wild SEO which is an eBook that covers every aspect of SEO. To check out the Wild SEO Website, click here.

3. Copywrite It!
The most boring aspect of internet marketing for me is writing salesletters. They take a long time to write, and can take twice as much time to perfect.  Good, fast, copywriting can save you hours of work. Their is over a 100 products that help you improve at copywriting but I found that their is only one product that sums it all up, you can check it out here.

Im still sick, but I hope you enjoy this post!

How Domains Can Determine The Amount Of Traffic On Your Website

Filed Under (General, Tips, Tricks, and Guides, Website Managment) by admin on 01-03-2009

How much is a domain worth? Most people would say about 8 bucks if I were to ask you on a regular forum. The fast of the matter is that domains can make or break your website. If you have a domains that is 15 characters long with 3 slashes, then you probably will not get many return visitors on your website. But if your domains is simple, easy to remember, and is very related to your keywords your probably going to get much more return visits. This alone can decrease your chances of getting a sale by more then fifty percent, yes fifty percent! Here is some statistics for you. More then 60% of people don’t buy a product the first time they visit a website. Also more then 80% of those people don’t bookmark the page. This means if your domain is long and confusing, the chances are they will likely remember the product name better then they can remember the URL.

How can domains help in traffic? Their is mainly one reason, keywords in your domain. If your domain is puppydogfeednow.com it’s going to be harder for you to rank for the keyword “Puppies” then it is for puppies.com. Actually if you search the term “pr checker” you will see that prchecker.info is in the #1 slot. The second minor reason is users are more likely to click puppies.com in the search results then clicking a scary domain like puppydogfeednow.com.

Another way to make money with domains is called domain tweaking, it is explained here.

If your domain is working out for you, don’t worry about it too much. Just consider it for your next website, it really does help convert more people into spending money on your website. Here is an example on a few of my previous domains: piracyship.org, ourrockband.com, and my soon to be website moviefile.org.

Enjoy!

How to increase money coming from your website

Filed Under (General, Tips, Tricks, and Guides, Website Managment) by admin on 28-02-2009

OK, so here you are trying to profit off of your website, or your already making profit but you want to make more. I’m going to show you how you can still make money off of people who don’t buy your product.
It’s often referred to as CPA, it stands for pay-per-lead affiliate marketing. The good thing about CPA is that many of the offers are 100% free to your visitors and you still get paid up to $30 per lead! The way to put CPA offers is the tricky part. You need to make sure that its fairly targeted and will attract users that don’t have much money. If I’m running a site(that’s not a landing page) which has a decent amount of visitors, I can make conversions be at about 5% (kinda high for many people) for my free offer by correct placement and description of offers.

How to increase your pay-per-lead conversions?

1. Notification
Make sure to specify that these offers are free by the ad/banner. What I do on some of my sites is put text above the ad saying “Mysitename’s Free Offers” in bold and then putting the ad directly below. This method works great.

2. Redesigning the banners.
Some of the default banners offered by CPA networks are very dull or too popular on the web. Too much popularity causes people to just block out the image of that ad if they have seen it before. If you have a dull banner then redesign it or get a cheap designer to do it. Many will do it free to try to fill up their portfolio.

3. Place your ad above the fold.
If your ad is on the bottom of the page it better be an impressions ad or your just stupid! Most users never get to the bottom of pages that are longer then 2 folds, the reasons behind it is: 1) if your website has any topic of interest in it (above the fold) the users will probably click it and never see your ad, 2) if your website is not interesting then the user will just leave your website without scrolling down!

Making sure your pay-per-lead ads/banners are placed correctly can affect your conversions drastically!

My Favorite CPA Network:
IncentReward
